blister - resin/metal
£32.00

This set contains:

  • x1 Late War Denny Class Steam Gun Boat model.
  • x1 Medium Wake card and x1 sheet of Royal Navy flags.

The Denny Class Steam Gun Boats (SGBs) were built for the Royal Navy in the early 1940s. Designed as a ‘super-gunboat’ able to challenge the large and capable German E-Boats, only seven of these all-steel, steam-powered vessels would be completed out of a planned sixty. The largest ships operated by the Coastal Forces, the Early War versions packed a punch with specific armament details found here while the Late War versions sport increased armour and armaments for an overall reduction in top speed.

Our new resin and metal kit is painted to depict SGB6 (S306), HMS Grey Shark, and is armed with two 6pdr guns, three 20mm Oerlikons (one of which is twin mounted), numerous machine guns, and a brace of 21” torpedo tubes.

Packed with weaponry and capable of dealing with anything the Kriegsmarine can throw at her, the Late War Denny Class SGB (HMS Grey Shark) is a brilliant addition to your force, especially if you prefer to use smaller vessels and need something to deal with enemy ‘heavies’, and should larger vessels come into view, her 6pdr guns and torpedoes will make her a genuine threat to even the largest ships in Cruel Seas!

Please note that no physical ship card will be included with this model however rules can be downloaded from the links below.
